Welcome to Xtrasi.co.uk

Hello and welcome to my website, yes I know it hasn't ever been completed and yes it has been redesigned many times over the last 2 years of its online life. But hey never mind at least I've got further this time around than before and actually have completed it. I'm not going to write much about my self here however I will write about that else where for now I want to focus on the purpose of this website.

This website has always been a general portal about my interests, originally just a forum for use at college between various students of the computing department as well as a gateway to photo galleries. One section of the website which never took off originally was articles I wrote about things I had done, I was currently interested in or future possibilities that may interest people. This never really took off as I saw this site more as a technical place for me to play with and attempt to break in many different ways as I tried out new things.

The website hopefully this time around will have alot more use now as I will be writing about several projects I am involved but the one I expect to get the most hits on this website would be my involvement in the restoration of the Principality of Sealand currently being managed by Church and East Ltd. See the Sealand articles for more information on the progress of the works.

So far I've received several thousand hits to this section and growth continues. Progress on the works of the restoration is continuing well. Both towers are now 100% dry, Both generators have been environmentally disposed of and the row is now air tight again. This means the works can now move on to installing a full time high power generation solution rather than lots of portable generators.

Other projects include my own real-time 3D chat environment called Futurescape 3D. This has been a side line project for me for a few years now and is slowing making progress whenever I have a spare minute or two at home, which unfortunately for this project isn't very often.

But finally I just want a place to share memories of things I've done with mates in the past so not only can I reflect on them, but they can to.

If you are unable to view the statistics embedded click here.

These are live statistics of the Xtrasi.co.uk server perfomance. While they may not be the best statistics you have ever seen, try to remember this website was running on my lowest spec server (Dual Pentium II 450Mhz) sat in my garage with on an ADSL line with a static IP. Now as of the 21st November 2006 I am hosted on a dedicated server with uncapped bandwidth.
